I work in a Title I school, which means many of the students live in poverty and have parents that struggle to provide resources for the classroom. I spend a lot of my own money to provide engaging and interactive learning experiences. Some of my students may not have a lot, but they do what they can to show how much they love me. One year I even got a cheese sandwich with the crust cut off for a Christmas present. It was the cutest thing. It was from a girl that had her grandma raising her. Some of my students come from broken homes, but I do what I can to make school a safe and loving place.
