My students have changed my entire outlook on life and I hope to do the same for them in many ways. They are hungry for knowledge and driven to improve their lives. Many of them, if not most of them, have not had the number of positive opportunities or experiences that one would hope for children their age and their exposure to the beauty of the world has been limited. Literature and writing opened me up to a new way of being and showed me what was possible. They need this more than anything I could teach them and they are more eager for it than any students that I have ever taught.

About my class
