Hey there! I am a first grade teacher working at Jacobson Elementary school in Las Vegas. This is my 4th year teaching. I taught first grade in Northern Nevada. Then I moved down to Las Vegas and taught Kindergarten for 2 years and now I am back in first grade! I was born and raised in Las Vegas-in fact, the school I teach at is zoned for the high school I went to. After high school I moved up to Northern Nevada to attend Great Basin College in Elko, NV. I finished school in Ely, NV and taught 1st grade for a year while I lived in the area. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I remember playing "school" with my dogs who needless to say they weren't the best learners! I am thankful everyday that my dream is now a reality!
