My first grade students attend a smaller, suburban elementary school of about 450 students, where community and leadership are imparted to our young learners. We are an Inclusive Pre-K through 5th grade school. Our students come from varied backgrounds and ethnicities, where children learn to work with others that are different from themselves. They are always excited to come to school to learn something new every day. Our students are independent thinkers and problem solvers. We have adopted the 7 Habits of Happy Kids, adapted from the original 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Our students take initiative and push themselves to learn all that they can.
