Welcome to the Good Vibes Tribe! Our self-contained middle school classroom serves students with emotional and behavioral disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. My students bring unique personalities, talents, and perspectives to our classroom, and I want each of them to feel safe, valued, and capable of success. In our tribe, we build academic skills while practicing how to communicate our needs, manage emotions, develop friendships, and become more independent. We celebrate every step forward, from trying a challenging assignment to using a coping strategy or helping a classmate. Your support helps provide hands-on learning materials, visual supports, and calming tools that meet my students’ individual needs. Together, we can give our Good Vibes Tribe more opportunities to learn, connect, and feel proud of their progress!
