The students have spoken! They love the flexible seating options in our classroom. They have said it makes them "responsible for their own learning" and that they are able to "learn in an environment that is comfortable for them. My students love discussing the endless flexible seating options-traditional hard chairs are a thing of the past! They would love to cozy up in a rocker to read or work. Many students choose to work at lap desks everyday and the adjustable floor seats would make it easier and more comfortable to work at the lap desks. The beanbag chairs would replace traditional chairs at a table. I love the flexibility of being able to use them around tables or easily pull them together for group collaboration. Different seating choices help meet the needs of all students. It is proven to boost performance and improve behavior, allowing children can move as they need to.
