I believe that students need outdoor playtime to lead healthy lives. Everyday I have my students go outside for recess. Before recess is even over, I have students coming up to me asking if they can go back inside. My students are bored and hot. They want better, more interactive sports equipment and water on hand. Hopefully, this project will solve all their problems. Students should keep their minds fresh with physical and healthy activities. My students have inspired me to request various balls and recess equipment, so they will never be bored again. They will be able to play with our hula hoops, jump ropes, and tossing games. The yoga mats will provide students with a relaxing space to practice different stretches to energize their bodies in and out of the classroom. When my students are hot and thirsty, I can provide them with cold water from the Gatorade squeeze bottles. Recess will be a time for students to exercise and live healthier lives.
