A professional quality camera will be an indispensable tool to teach students how to shoot in all of the camera's modes. Students will edit them in my class like a pro. using Photoshop and Lightroom. This opportunity will give GCHS students fantastic skills on how to use a camera as well as set them up for a future job where they can take professional looking pictures. "Photographs open doors into the past, but they also allow a look into the future." -Sally Mann All of us use cameras to take our personal photos as well as use them at times for work. Taking pictures is fun and a skill that will last a lifetime. Giving high schools students professional equipment to use helps them acquire specific knowledge as well as gain confidence and pride in their work. My students are on the verge of entering the workforce. Please help give them practical real world skills by giving them the correct tool to learn with.
