The images in the books of William Blake are delightful. Students learn how to plan their artwork in a very imaginative way from the concepts and also learn much from the transparent and powerful layering of color that Blake uses. His written text has been an inspiration for calligraphy and font assignments. Having beautiful books in the classroom help foster a love and appreciation of books. Students are not accustomed to just the sheer joy of paging through a beautiful book for entertainment and learning. This is a pastime I hope to instill in them for years to come. \r\nStudents don't often read in my classroom, but use books for inspiration and learning about art history. Even though I teach at the high school level, I sometimes like to read to my students, to give them more in depth knowledge about a subject. They seem to really like it when I do this. Having your support makes a positive difference for student learning. My classes will value your contribution for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1738608885954,"projectUrl":"project/william-blake-visionary-artist/8952090/","projectTitle":"William Blake: Visionary Artist","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Moore","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4561712_orig.jpg?crop=1965,1966,x0,y39&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1652284867731","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/gchsmoab"},{"teacherId":8282526,"projectId":8952086,"letterContent":"Students were impacted by researching their heritage.
