My students are in a self contained classroom throughout the day. Having options for flexible seating is a must. The items we are purchasing will help our students focus on the lessons while having the ability to move and fidget. By setting up my classroom with multiple seating options that help individuals with their impulsive behaviors, my students will have a better opportunity for growth throughout the year. The use of the body socks and the fidget items will also be helpful with calming strategies. The noise reduction headphones will assist students who have a sensitivity to noise that can often trigger behaviors.
