Some where along the line from elementary to high school, my students have lost their love of movement and exercise. I want to bring fun, laughter, and teamwork to high school students in the gym without them knowing they are getting a workout. Scooters will enable us to play a host of games including relays, scooter sports (basketball, soccer, hockey), spaghetti and meatballs and Spider-man tag. We can also use them for conditioning activities for hamstring, quadriceps, upper body strength and abdominal workouts. Moving our bodies should be done in a fun, non-threatening, team-building pick me up environment full of unique and energetic equipment and scooters will help me accomplish what I want to bring into my classroom space. I want to bring a smile to their faces and a little sweat to their bodies.
