This is a brand new dance program with extremely limited resources. Two class sets of costumes have been donated, but we have no shoes and many of our students cannot afford to purchase their own jazz shoes. I am hoping for a class set to keep at the school, so the students will be able to borrow them for class. Dance shoes are essential for learning and practicing technical skills, and they offer cleaner performance looks. My students will learn ballet, jazz, and hip hop technique, with elements of contemporary dance. The dance shoes will be utilized throughout the entire year.
