Our I.B. World School is located in a rural community that is blessed with a loving, down-to-earth staff that embraces diversity in all forms. We focus on developing the whole child and encourage a student-centered learning environment. Our third grade students are 8 and 9 year olds who come from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. They have a broad range of abilities and skills. However, one thing they have in common is a sparkle in their eye, stemming from their love of learning and endless curiosity. Since the implementation of the 1:1 Chromebook initiative, students in our grade-level have each been given a chromebook to use in the classroom. This has enabled us teachers to create a differentiated student-driven environment. Students are able to work at their own pace at their personalized academic level.
