My school is a Title-One school with fun, caring, creative students. Many of my students are in single parent homes, some are being raised by grandparents, and now, many in our community are unemployed due to the pandemic. Our community may take longer to recover than others, as so much of our industry is tied to hospitality and gaming. In spite of all that my students enjoy taking on new tasks with friends. During music classes they are enthusiastic when exploring new rhythm activities and have developed sensitive musicianship.
