My students have access to Chromebooks and the online reading program, Epic. Students are able to choose books by reading level, topic, and interest. I am able to choose appropriate books for them and put them onto online "bookshelves" for my students to read individually. I am able to monitor my students' reading choices and their time spent on task. Many of the online books they have access to are "read aloud" which is excellent for my challenged students to help with increasing vocabulary and fluency. Using these headphones, my students can listen attentively without interruption from classmates. My ESL students can improve their English language learning and my special learners can hear books on their level! The books will come to life!
