Through play therapy, children will be accessing the support and guidance they need in overcoming social emotional and behavior challenges. Interactive and board games are a fun way to provide services and support to children without them feeling they are in counseling. Books on research-based strategies provide activities and worksheets to use during counseling. Character education resources will help children learn about valuable traits and functioning skills that will help them in their community. Many of our children are currently being raised in a community that is facing many environmental factors. Many of them have had limited learning opportunities, lack of positive role models and a high incidence of risk factors.
