They love to do stations and their favorite thing to do it get on the computer, but unfortunately I don't have enough computers for each student to get on during their station time. Most of my students live with someone other than their parents, and live in low socioeconomic homes. Most of my students struggle for everyday essentials, and I want them to come to school and forget about all their worries. The classroom should be their escape, and to do that I want to create a loving and fun environment.
