My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. They are soccer players, horse riders, readers and girl scouts. They make me laugh every day and as I don't have children of my own yet, in some way I view these kids as my own. Some come from broken families where all they really want is for someone to tell them they're special, and there's some that receive all the love in the world from their family. What I'm trying to do is even the playing field and allow all of these students to receive a great education no matter where they come from.
