I am requesting Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump cardboard stand ups and campaign signs to stimulate my students' expression of their political beliefs during the 2016 election. Over the course of the school year, students will use their personal electronic devices to make videos and social media and blog posts to display their opinions backed up with evidence and examples. This project will transform my students from passive to active digital citizens. Using their technology, students will use social media to learn about the election, publish their opinions, and collaborate with like-minded people and debate responsibly with those with whom they disagree.
