A classroom set of recorders will open new doors for my students. We do not currently have any music classes, and bringing these items into our classroom would enrich their lives in so many ways. It is an amazing first instrument that will allow my students to learn to read and play music. Learning to play an instrument will help them in all of their academic areas. They will increase hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, and memory. Rhythmic exercises will help students as they are learning to read! My students are would be very appreciative of anything that they receive. I know that access to music is something that they do not have. It would be an amazing outlet as well as an enriching learning experience
