We have 30 minutes a day to learn and master a 2nd language through listening, speaking, reading, and writing that supports the classroom academic content areas. Headphones are a critical tool for EL students when learning, applying, and strengthening their listening skills. All lesson planning and activities must be well planned and super efficient to be able to meet the needs of each language learner in this amount of time. Without headphones, students cannot effectively use the technology programs that I have that allow me to target and reinforce their listening skills. These headphones will greatly increase the effectiveness of my listening activities.
