These materials will help my students build a fire prevention tool that will notify the local fire department when temperature, humidity or wind speeds are in a high risk zone! That could save thousands of lives throughout California! To further elaborate on this project, we are working with the local fire department and collaborating with other local experts to find the best solution to fire prevention and safety. We hope to also learn to build an AI or Machine Learning algorithm that can predict fires before they happen. Then our sensor will communicate back to the correct authorities in order to take preventative action.

About my class
