The LEGO set, dolls, a play carpet, toys and accessories will be used in our classroom during our centers time. Center time is when children get to choose where they want to explore and play. Play is very important for the development of young children; it’s how they learn. Dramatic play helps build social skills and self-esteem, it also helps foster social emotional learning. Because we are a public school, we do not have the funds for the appropriate materials to help foster their social-emotional learning. Please help my students during this crucial time in their development! Thank you!
