I believe that ALL children can learn when given appropriate learning materials that accentuate their abilities. Let's stop disabling those who learn differently and TEACH them. I have wandered into too many special needs classrooms and observed children coloring or watching movies all day...and I have decided to be the change they need. Believe in them, give them hope, make them laugh and build their characters. But above all...TEACH to enable independence.
