My students need five Dell Chromebook to access programs tailored for individualized help. This would allow me to organize small groups to target specific student's need within our classroom. Students will work on reading/language skills, math facts and researching techniques. The headphones would allow the students to focus on their work and not be a distraction to others. The Chromebooks will allow my students to not only access programs to help them with math and literacy skills but also to master basic computer skills. Technology is all around us! My students need to practice basic computer tasks in order to be successful in future academic settings. Our school only has one computer lab for all the lower grades so this will provide additional practice in the classroom. In addition, we would share with the other first grade classrooms when we are not using the Chromebooks.
