This year I am new to my campus, and to my grade level. As our year started, I noticed that I wasn't the only new person in my class. More than half of my students are from a different school, and some are even from out of state! We have a great mix of familiar faces, new to campus, new to Texas, and even new to public school as a whole. They are a fun and energetic bunch who love to crack jokes and play 4 square. We honestly love learning and spending time together every day! This year I am teaching 4th grade for the first time, and I love building a strong community with these empowered minds! Every day I am impressed with how smart and savvy my students are. They are always ready to learn and have positive attitudes about any situation. Every day we are at school we grow a little closer together as one big family. I feel so lucky to have this silly bunch of students this year!
