This year is my second year as a School Counselor. I find that some of my students struggle with regulating emotions. Many of my students lack emotional supports at home for various reasons and need more support than other students. Students struggle many times for unknown reasons, behaviorally, educationally, and sometimes both. I want to encourage positive social and emotional development and experiences. I have requested supplies to make 10 calm down kits. I want to make sure that I can give my students as many opportunities as possible to be successful academically and socially.
