Supporting one of the few, inner city public high schools dedicated to the performing arts still in use today; our dance department, is working to streamline the costumes and shoes check in/out process so we can make sure all borrowed items are returned. To accomplish this project, we are working to set up a bar-code scanning system for all the dance items using a handheld scanner, computer, tags, and software. Then, build storage/shelves for the dance costumes and shoes. Being an inner city school, these upgrades will support our attempts to minimize the cost of dance to the student.
