I teach an awesome group of inner-city third and fourth graders. They are a creative group of students who work well together. The students are always eager to improve themselves as well as their community. Despite their economic circumstances, they seek out ways to give back to their community like planting trees around the school or organizing a canned food drive for the local pantry.
