If we're fully funded, your donation will go towards purchasing our program a quality Alto Saxophone. The saxophone is the one of the most expensive beginner band instruments for our school to rent or purchase. This donation will be used to help our school begin to build a collection of instruments and teach generations of students. The more quality instruments we can get for these amazing young men and women to learn with, the broader an impact we can have. Multiple studies have shown the positive effects of music education on better performance in all kinds of academics, and this instrument will provide one student a chance to expand their horizons in a way they wouldn't get anywhere else. Very few of these students have had a chance to learn an instrument and I feel very lucky to give it to them.
