I teach students in grades 4-8. My students are amazing! They are smart, talented, and hard-working. They LOVE being in band and playing their instruments. Some of my students are beginning musicians and some of them have been playing their instruments for 5 or 6 years. My students come from a variety of home situations and backgrounds, but the thing they have common is the joy they find in making music. For many of them coming to band is the high point of their day. I strive to make classroom an inclusive, supportive, and fun experience for all of my students. They are some of my favorite people in the world and they deserve the best from me, and I am determined to give them the best I can every day.
