My students are international, English language learners from over 30 different countries. They use their love of dance and movement to learn about themselves and one another, as well as express themselves. Our curriculum includes the study of dances from around the world, including West African, Salsa, and Bollywood dances. Students at the school are adapting to their new country in a major U.S. city, learning everything from public transportation to how to apply to college. Dance provides them with a physical outlet and form of artistic expression while encouraging them to be agents of change!
