I have a wide range of students come through my door each day. Within my three Language Arts classes, there are approximately 95 students. They range from high-achieving gifted students to students that qualify for special education services. Approximately 70% of our semi-rural school receives free or reduced lunches. We also have the largest population of English Language Learners in our district attending our school. My passion is to ignite a love of reading, and inspire students to crave knowledge. I would love for them to read an engaging article in class, and then take it home to share with the rest of their families. The students may even become the teachers as they share what they have learned with their parents and siblings. They can end up traveling around the world and back in a single day.
