Focussing on the Hero's Journey and the stories that make us human, my students will find the connections to what binds us to our past and what binds us to one another. By reading these stories, not only will students share in a complicated and brilliant foundational work of literature, but they will connect to the traditions that appear and reappear in the literature and art of every new generation.
