My class consists of 11 eager-to-learn third-graders in a rural district. If you were to walk into our classroom, you would feel as if you were walking into our home and you would see that we are more of a big family than a class. Our room is full of readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and dreamers. I am always encouraging my students to get up and get learning in their home-like classroom. There is truly nothing better than watching my students engage in active learning together.
