Scholastic Action Magazine teaches students about strength and courage. The most recent magazine had an article on bullying that, although they loved reading it, broke every students heart. They learned about turning a bad situation into a powerful opportunity. Scholastic Math has fun and interesting ways to apply the math they learn in the classroom to real life situations. Storyworks has plays and stories they love to read to each other and take home to read with younger siblings.. These magazines further support the life skills and academic skills we work so hard to teach in the classroom by including current non-fiction and fiction stories that are pertinent and inspiring to this age group.
