My students are those kids! We work as a TEAM to help build each other up and share our strengths, ideas and discoveries. My school resides in a rural area with a low socio- economic population, a wide range of ethnicities, and many of our families serve our local military bases. We have approximately 450 students, and although poverty is rampant in the home, we are always looking for ways to provide them with the resources that they need and deserve to be successful learners. I am so excited to be teaching 39 creative, engaged, diverse thinkers this year! They are convinced that 4th grade is going to be their best year ever! We've got the attitude and classroom culture, now we are asking for a little help in providing those resources.
