My students are bright, resilient young minds. A large majority of them come from single-parent homes and have to contribute to the family's survival by assisting with bill payment, etc. They are young men and women who wish to better themselves through education in order to provide a higher quality of life for their families. They are hard-working and dedicated, but do not always have the same advantages of students in other districts. My students are caring and eager to please; they simply need a little extra to be able to compete in today's society without being a leg behind.

About my class
