This project will provide the wrestlers of BCMHS with both safety and hygiene products that will reduce both injury and potential high frequency skin diseases that are commonly associated with wrestling. The listed body wipes will be used prior to each practice by all wrestlers to wipe down both their arms and legs to promote healthy skin contact. Prior to competition, wrestlers are required to be clean shaven as checked by officials. The team set of razors will be brought to matches to ensure that our wrestlers will be able to wrestle their matches. By shaving their faces they limit the areas that potentially carry high levels of bacteria from their faces, while also reducing the likelihood of irritating someone’s skin from rough facial hair patches. By offering a team issued options, this will insure that our wrestlers are practicing healthy skin care and hygiene that will protect themselves, their team mates, and their competitors from potential skin infections.
