My students are lively, energetic, outspoken and caring. They have the drive and hunger to fight for what they believe is morally right. In the neighborhood our school is in, the South Bronx, they rarely get to share their ideas about world or national issues. In this class, they have the opportunity to step away from everyday life and argue issues much deeper that impact their society and make connections to how it influences their daily life.

About my class
