These digital cameras can be used in many different ways to help facilitate learning in the STEM disciplines. Students will learn basic photography concepts that teach real life math applications. Students are always asking when they will ever use some of the things they learn and photography can help answer that question. These concepts include geometry, Polyhedrons, Fractions, Circle Areas, Angles, and Symmetry. Additionally students can learn real world math applications when learning about aperture and f stops, white balance and ISO. Students will learn good composition and balance that involves ratios. Students will be able to use the cameras for many different projects that help document their learning through photos. These cameras have a video mode so that students can record presentations and incorporate videos in their technology. They can document projects and school wide events as well.
