The geometry students at my school have been working to master all of the vocabulary and relationships presented in class with technology-enhanced lessons. Now it is time for them to explore the applications of these relationships by creating some math artwork. With your help, every student will have access to construction tools and materials to create their artwork while practicing safety protocols. Your donation will provide math tools that will awaken the inner artist in every student as they continue their journey in Geometry. The compass will be used in our construction unit. The culminating project includes an original piece of art that combines creativity and geometric constructions. Students will be able to work on the projects in class and at home with their personal tools. As students create these math-er-pieces, I hope that they will see the beauty and relevance of Geometry.
