Students in my middle school CTE program will learn to use CAD software. This will give them the tools to be lifelong designers and creators. Students will design multi-use furniture and robots using CAD software. They will also create scale models of pop culture characters or any other real-world objects of their choice. The goal is for every student to walk out of my class with a 3D printed model of something they designed to kindle the fire of creativity and making. The 3D printers requested in this project seek to provide the students in my Building Engineers CTE class the motivation to be lifelong problem solvers.
