The supplies purchased with your donation will give my students hands on learning opportunities. The lab activities the students participate in will give them the work skills they will need to compete in today's culinary field. They also develop skills such as problem-solving, team work, organization, and time management. These skills will positively prepare them for the workplace. Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." My students need these supplies to have an authentic experience developing their culinary skills. Learning culinary skills as well as employability skills provides my students with more options upon graduation from high school.
