The rugs that I am requesting for my classroom will be used in two different areas in my classroom. The large rug will he placed in the front of the classroom as a place to come together to have mini lessons, class meetings, story time and also use during free reading and center times. The smaller rug will be placed in my library area to help make it a more inviting place for my students to want to read and spend more time in. During center time they can choose different areas in which to complete their work. It would be wonderful to make my reading corner and circle time areas more cozy and inviting to want to work and read on. Students that have a warm and comfy classroom, are more engaged in learning. To give them this area they will be more engaged and their reading stamina will increase by leaps and bounds because they are more comfortable.
