AMy students need five bean bag chairs to create a quiet calming space to complete their tasks such as reading. Also these bean bag chairs will be used to create a sense of calm for those students. Autistic Students often need different types of input. Research has shown student with ASD often benefit from a squeezing sensation. These beanbag chairs will help provide this squeezing sensation to help calm students. Without the necessary chairs to help provide the necessary input, many students which fall in the autistic spectral disorder are unable to focus and absorb key instructional material. Your donation towards this project will be beneficial to enhance the learning environment for my students. In specialized environments, students with ASD are allowed to use various ways to improve the quality of their sensory experience. The research would indicate most ASD students need unique ways to outlet their sensory world.
