This IPad and accessories will help my students self-assess their movements by providing video feedback to themselves. Assessment is a large part of learning. Apps like Coaches Eye help provide video analyses. Students are able to take short video clips of themselves and then using the app they can slow down the movement to analyze their skill during critical cues or essential elements. The students can compare their performance to a rubric I have provided to see how they compare to the California state standards for physical education. This IPad will also be used for classroom management with application like Class Dojo and Team Shake. Class Dojo is a platform where I can analyze data I collect about classroom behavior. I can email and text parents to let them know how their student is doing. Team shake is an effective way to create groups for class. Of course every person has their own biases, this app generates random groups. There is less arguing in a class when team shake is utilized correctly.
