Many of my students struggled with digital learning in the spring. This project will provide my exceptional learners with a bag filled with materials that will allow for off line learning at home. Students can then be given assignments that do not need the computer. They will be able to use the magnetic whiteboards to practice writing and making words and sentences and will be able to hold them up on our zoom meetings! This project will also include sensory items that will help calm students and give them brain breaks. Many students use technology as a break but when all instruction is on a screen, students need hands on materials. Students love magnetic sand and fidgets. These are very calming and help kids refocus. All of these resources will be delivered to students and kept in a personalized to go bag. This bag will help students stay organized and keep their materials together.It will also hopefully get them excited for school. Thank you for considering this project. It will greatly help give them a great start to the new school year!
