Caver Coffee Crew club members are 16 Special Ed students who have passed the California Food Handlers test and are now able to prepare coffee, hot chocolate, and teas. They take orders, make the coffee and then deliver the beverages to various teacher/staff locations campus-wide. This opportunity has helped our student grow their interpersonal skills and they continue to develop opportunities that will help them in real-life. Unfortunately, the profits from the coffee we sell will not give us enough funds to support a very much deserved field trip to Six Flags and is why we are turning to you, Donors Choose, for help. Tickets, bus and food would run well over $1500 and we have less than half so far. Supporting our club would make our "baristas" very happy. They have worked so hard all year and their teachers would love to see their smiling faces when we tell them we've raised enough funds to take this trip!
