Many of my students come from homes with no books or reading materials. Parents often work late hours and are unable to help their child with homework or practice reading skills. My students come to school ready and excited to learn, but they are not provided with the proper materials. My students love to read and often spend time with their books. They are unable to read many of the books, but love to find the popcorn words that they do know! They always try their best and have winning attitudes!
